Much joy and peace has come out of the sorrow Jerry and Beverly Burke went through with the death of their son. Doug and a friend were killed in a car wreck in April of 1990. With the first Christmas without Doug coming soon, Jerry wanted something very special for Beverly. Since she collected different angel figurines, candles and other objects, he decided to get her an angel necklace. The only angels he could find were little fat cupids or skinny fairies. He went to a jeweler friend that had nothing better, however the suggestion came for Jerry to design his own angel and the jeweler would cast it for him. THAT WAS THE BEGINNING. Now with over twenty five designs and growing, the angels have been a blessing all over the world. The story of Doug's death, the healing that God had given and the angels have been in Sweden, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Kenya, Thailand, Nepal, Mexico, Guatemala and Brazil. For the first time the angel designs are being presented on the internet. We pray that you like them. Our Hope is that they will continue to bless as you buy one for yourself or a loved one. We want to help you encourage others that are in need of some special attention. One short story from the giving of an angel. Jerry and Beverly were in Kenya to help with a pastor conference. They stayed in a retreat center down the road from the conference. Jerry gave the operator of the center an angel, then told the story of loosing his son. The lady said she loved the angel, however she was giving it away. Questioning the lady, Jerry found that her friend had lost two daughters in the Embassy bombing the year before. Jerry insisted she keep her angel and he had another for the friend. The lady arranged for Jerry and Beverly to meet her friend. A lot of talk and tears went on that night. The next morning the lady made the statement, "You may have come to Kenya for a pastors conference but God brought you here to help my friend." God wants us to help people one at a time. Each angel has a name and a scripture verse. As Jerry reads his Bible and an idea comes to mind, he will develop it until he has a design. Other times as he listens to a sermon, he will get an idea. Even cloud formations have given him ideas. When you order, you receive along with the angel, a 24 inch chain, a gift pouch and a name card with the scripture and the story of how this was started.
